Built for speed and safety, our Kaituna Jet will take you on a 30-minute thrill ride designed to "blow out the cobwebs". We'll start out with 12km journey up the Kaituna River but be warned - our driver has a serious need for speed. Be prepared for a fast and furious blast back down river - 360 degree spins included!
Powered by V8 Chevrolet engines, with the ability to go 75km/hr, the Kaituna Jet pumps 380 litres of water per second! The jet boats use the famous Hamilton Jet Unit which is a New Zealand invention.
This jet boat ride is action and adventure combined with stunning natural New Zealand at its best!
Seating up to 25 people (2 boats), this truly exhilarating experience is great for everyone.

Spring Loaded Fun Park Jet Boat rides depart daily, every hour (on the hour) starting at 9am. Allow 45 minutes (30 minutes on the water).
Child = 16yrs and under
Group concessions are available.
- Minimum of 2 people
- Children under the age of 3 are not permitted on the jet boat
- All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult
- Camera equipment welcome at own risk
